My Story
Natty’s Road is a journey to healthy, active and balanced daily life midst the society and work demands.
… and in that moment, all I knew was that I wanted to feel good in my body regardless of the demands of outside world…
You know, just like you, I too lived that daily routine of coming home and falling into that cozy corner and do some aimless scrolling to the tenth hour and realise that the whole evening passed by. What I wanted to be a quick recovery after work turned into a hours long numbness.
I couldn’t get into much routine with hobbies due to the hectic lifestyle on the road - the ultimate nomads dream living in a van and exploring the most extravagant destinations was my reality for years.
The truth is, this kind of hectic lifestyle brought me to a kind of numbness. So I started running daily. This brought me some routine and gave me something more to think about than work and duties.
I realised how much more running was to me, not just a way to keep active but also a way to create that extra head space and let go of anything that was bothering.
I slowly but surely started to find amazing running paths along my travels. Instead of always trying to find new running paths I started to record the found paths in my notes. These records are now also found on Natty’s Road for you to get inspired by as well.
Now I am on the journey to hit my first half marathon and improve my 10km record times. I am journaling the journey here on Natty’s Road to keep inspiration and routine up. It’s kind of funny goals are reached by routine so that’s were we will start to reach the dreams of being part of Scottish marathons and Iceland Marathons amongst many other ones down the list.
